Frankeberger
Spencer Frankeberger is an actor, award-winning director, award-winning producer, improviser, and Greek-American. He is a graduate of iO West, Second City Hollywood, UCB, and ComedySportz LA. He is a cast member of the family-friendly The Really Awesome Improv Show at Second City Hollywood and performs in What Rhymes with Orange? and Supportive White Parents at Second City Hollywood as well. He is a cast member of the murder mystery company Dainty Dames Events.
Some of his favorite roles include: Schroeder (You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown), Daniel (The Complete Works of Shakespeare [Abridged]), Pharaoh (Joseph…Dreamcoat), and Jamie (The Last 5 Years). He has written three musicals in which he starred for the Hollywood Fringe: A Jingle A Go-Go: The Musical, the award-winning Coasterthon Catastrophe: An Amusement Park Musical, and the award-winning Jamba Juice: The Musical. He also performed in a total of 5 shows in the 2019 Hollywood Fringe, ranging from sketch comedy to a Gilbert & Sullivan-style western musical.
Aside from entertainment, he is also a board-certified music therapist. He is currently writing his 4th musical, producing a family-friendly show called Not Muppet Classic Theater, an online educational improv interview series called The Improv Summit, and created and co-hosts a theme park podcast called Theoretical Thrills as he is a huge theme park enthusiast. He has an MFA in Film Production from Florida State University.
He is also a great speller, having won his 5th grade spelling bee and 2nd place and Most Spirited in a college student union spelling bee charity fundraiser. He is working toward being hip with the trends of Instagram and TikTok (@spencer101f), has 5 years of competitive a cappella experience, is learning Greek, is conversational in sign language, and he is an avid jump roper.
