Elizabeth Bunnell is a casting director whose fifteen plus years of experience have led her to cast for film, television, theater and commercials both on camera and voice over. Elizabeth began her casting career at Liz Lewis Casting. There she helped develop the Elizabethan Shakespeare Company, did voice casting for the Academy Award nominated documentary Sound and Fury, cast the off-Broadway comedy In the Wings, assisted with correspondent casting for The Daily Show, and cast multiple indie films, shorts and countless commercials and voice overs. After eight years at Liz Lewis Casting, she left to become an independent Casting Director working with many of NYC's top casting houses, advertising agencies and production companies including Sound Lounge,
Pamela Fahey Casting, Donna DeSeta Casting, Doreen Frumkin Casting, Broadcasters and Hyperbolic Audio.
In addition to her casting career, Elizabeth has worked as a theater director, producer and actor and is a co-founder and Artistic Director of the award winning 3Graces Theater Co. With 3Graces, she helped to develop the work and talents of many young playwrights, directors, composers and actors including Rob Askins (playwright, Hand to God),
Sharyn Rothstein (writer, Suits), Kris Kukul (musical director, Beetlejuice), Noah Galvin (actor, dear Evan Hanson, The Real O'Neills), William Jackson Harper (actor, The Good Place) and Kally Duling (actor, Fun Home).
Combining her directing/ producing experience with her love for voice acting has led Elizabeth to work as a VO Director on many commercials, industrials, documentaries and VO reels.
Elizabeth also serves as a private VO coach at Hyperbolic Audio and teaches at NYU’s StoneStreet Studios and Playwrights Horizons. Throughout her career, she has taught VO and On-Camera acting classes helping actors to hone audition techniques and maximize their strengths. .
